Itinerary
06:30 Am – Get ready for an exciting 3.5 hours journey from Jaipur at Agra for your private tour of Taj Mahal. Our driver is going to report at your hotel (Time can be attended a bit according to your comfort). En-route to Agra you can enjoy watching the country side and rustic life through the screens of your car.
10:00 AM – As you approach the Taj Mahal city we meet and greet you and you are introduce to your expert your guide. He will brief you about do’s not do not’s for the Taj Mahal tour.
10:30 AM – Enter the premises of the Taj after the serenity fishing. Your entry tickets will be already, booked so do not worry getting in the long lines. You can take beautiful pictures of the most photogenic building and learn about history and architecture details from the tour guide. The sparking of semiprecious stones and the glane of white marble will certainly mesmerise you.
12:30 PM – Now feet away the weariness of the sightseeing in an air conditioned local restaurant. Relish Agra delicacies at lunch time.
01:30 PM – Now proceed to visit Agra fort. The tour guide will show you the marvellous palaces housed inside the fort. You get to see the palaces like Jahangiri Palace, Deewan – i – Khan, Dewan – i – Am etc. You visit beautiful gazeboes, tannest, kiosks in these edifices.
03:00 PM – After the visit of the fort is over as a shopaholic you can enjoy short shopping spree in the beautiful bazaars of Agra. You can buy some souvenirs and artefacts of your own choice.
04:30 PM – Now get ready to drive back to Jaipur. It will take nearly 3.5 to 4 hours to reach back to your hotel or the airport in Jaipur.

It remains open on the 15th of August and 26th of January which are Independence Day and Republic day in India respectively.
It is allowed to take pictures on the pictures and on the Taj Gardens. Even you can take pictures on the mausoleum from outside. It is not allowed to snap inside the tomb.
There are no photos of Shahjahan and Mumtaj on the Mausoleum. You can see some miniatures of them in the Taj mausoleum
Yes, you can hire professional photographers in the forecourt of the Taj Mahal.
Moonlight viewing in the Taj Mahal is a possible maximum of 5 days in a month-2 Days prior and 2 days later, full moon and on the full moon day. If it is Friday or the Ramzan month it is not allowed. You have o book your tickets 1 Day in advance with the ASI Agra office
